Han In Japan

I moved to Tokyo. Read about it here.

From us to you: another home tour! This one is currently being used as an Airbnb, which is why it is named “Tachikawa ABB House.” Based on the photos on Airbnb, Chase and I were very excited about this property, but upon arrival, it is less ideal than we originally thought. Take a gander for yourself:

Chase’s description below:
“This place near Tachikawa (15 minutes on foot to the station) is nicely located near a greenway and the river, but is a little odd having been remodeled from a traditional home to its current state as an Air BnB. We had high hopes for this one! Let’s see if we take it. Beach House is still in the running!”

We did not end up taking this house, but the Beach House is still in the running. Which one is your favorite so far?

More to come!

Hi guys. Really loving seeing these videos and after reading down to the bottom of Hannah’s post, I was relieved, did not want to get in the Airbnb house. It had a lot of issues that weren’t overcoming by various charms in my opinion.

Fourth house, which I think you called the beach house, in the video right before this one is a huge front runner for me. Yes, it also needed work but it had so many positives and perks and charms that the work seemed worth it. how are negotiations going on that one? So excited for you guys to get, a place nailed down and start settling in and building your new exciting life!

Keep the updates coming hannah. I am loving reading all about it. The good. The bad. The ugly. Moving across the world is an enormous adjustment. Eager to hear how the crash course Japanese class is going.

    Love, Aunt Mo
